REGULATING BED BUGS THROUGH SMART TECHNIQUES

Bedbugs are small, flat-winged reddish brown in color parasitic animals that feed exclusively on human blood.  Bed bugs approximately equal to the size of an apple seed. They hide under mattresses, bed frames, curtains, floors, and furniture. Bed bugs cannot fly but they can crawl very fast.  Bed bugs enter from infested furniture or from other places. Bed bugs remain active at night and feed on places exposed to the atmosphere such as legs and hands. Getting rid of bed bugs is not an easy task; however, we can control them through some measures.

1. Make sure your house is infested with bed bugs only.
2. Change your furniture settings. Place them away from walls.
3. Clean your house with a vacuum every day. Empty the vacuum or the bag immediately and dispose of outside in a sealed container or bag.
4. Seal cracks and crevices and any openings where pipes or wires come into the home.
5. Hire a pest control company for they have specialized people that can help in controlling bed bugs. Also, make sure they have experience with bed bugs and should follow the steps of IPM, along with any pesticide application.
6. Before hiring, check if the hired agency is registered and employs licensed applicators.

Therefore, removing bed bugs is a tedious job and is also physically and emotionally exhausting. It can also be expensive when pest control companies are called in. bed bugs are more of a nuisance than a health concern and, with vigilance, you can avoid or deal with infestations.
